About

Originally from Southern California, I live in Philadelphia. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte and am an Associate Professor (Teaching/Instruction) of writing at Temple University.
I'm the author of two Philadelphia-set novels: Regret (2007) and The Intersection (2016).
My short stories have appeared in The Baltimore Review, Santa Fe Writer’s Project Journal, Ray’s Road Review, Northern Liberties Review, DOAB, and Jonathan.
My reviews have appeared in Philadelphia Review of Books.
